In this third study on extra-curricular science activities in Hong Kong, the Croucher Foundation found 3,065 activities held across the territory in the 12-month study period (June 2017 to May 2018). We used the data collected to compile a digital map which shows that the New Territories and outlying islands have their share of STEM activities, in addition to Hong Kong Island and Central Kowloon. For events with multiple venues, all locations were mapped.
The blue and orange dots represent activities for primary and secondary students respectively. Purple dots indicate activities that targeted both groups.
