Sponsorship of International Conferences 2011-12

The Foundation is interested in supporting conferences and seminars which are of direct benefit to Hong Kong with a meaningful presence of Hong Kong-based scientist. The topics must explicitly be in the fields of natural science, technology or medicine preferably with a research emphasis. The conference grants for 2011were as follows:

  5. 1st Conference on Developing Assessment Tools and Intervention Programs for Childhood Auditory Processing Disorders in Chinese Communities (IEd): HK$100,000;
  6. 2011 International Conference on ICT in Teaching and Learning “Education Unplugged: Mobile Technologies and Web 2.0” (OUHK): HK$100,000;
  7. International Conference on New and Renewable Energy Development – Response to Global Climate Change cum Cross-Strait Scientists Forum on Energy Efficiency and Management (OUHK): HK$100,000;
